Internships

Age Eligibility: Adults Only (18+)

Contact: Human Resources Generalist Brittany Snead

MHA has limited paid seasonal internship opportunities which can support the Advocacy/Public Policy, Community Impact, Counseling*, Development, Education, and ParentVOICE programs.

To inquire and express interest in an internship, please complete the MHA INTERNSHIP INTEREST FORM.

* Clinical supervision is currently only available for Johnson C. Smith University, UNC Pembroke and UNC-Charlotte MSW or MA in Counseling students. Because MHA has limited internships, this is a competitive process.

Ambassadors

Age Eligibility: Adults Only (18+)

Volunteers may be trained to serve as MHA Ambassadors, to help raise visibility and increase MHA’s presence at community events. For those with administrative skills, MHA has varied project needs on a seasonal basis. These projects might include research, curriculum development, or assistance with administrative tasks in the office such as mailings or phone calls.
