QPR Gatekeeper Instructor Certification Training (8:00AM – 5:30PM)

The QPR Gatekeeper Trainer Certification Course certifies individuals to teach the Evidence-Based QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention curriculum* to their community. 

The course’s approach to suicide prevention is an excellent way for individuals and organizations to help empower their communities to effectively intervene on behalf of individuals experiencing suicidal ideation and in-crisis people.  This course utilizes a combination of online PREREQUISITE self-study and A FULL-DAY IN-PERSON live instructor-led workshop-style training.  You must attend/complete both components to complete the QPR Instructor Course and become certified as a QPR Instructor.  

NOTE: Participants in this course must be at least 18 years of age. 

*QPR is a curriculum that is authored by the QPR Institute.  

The QPR Institute sets the course tuition fee of $595, which covers the cost of instruction, program materials, and the instructor packet and starter kit that each participant will receive for the class.

QPR GATEKEEPER INSTRUCTOR TRAINING CERTIFICATION includes:

• 3-year Instructor Certification
• 12 Clock Hours/1 CEU
• 25 QPR participant booklets and everything you’ll need to host your first QPR training
• Ongoing support from the QPR Institute
